I am  a professional consultant and an experienced bridge-builder.
My work and vocation is to establish links between people who stand on the opposing banks of a metaphoric river. Such as:

• Cultural difference.  I have dealt with problems of new arrivals through ten years of employment with the Department of Immigration. My studies in cultural anthropology and sociology were coupled with rendering practical assistance, advice and information to individuals and groups from a wide variety of backgrounds
  
• Language difference. Helping to overcome the language barrier through translating and interpreting work which I began in the mid-seventies. Accredited by NAATI I still work on translation contracts, often for the Commonwealth of Australia.
  
• Age difference. As a daughter and a mother, I address the generation gap continually. Language teaching to young and old also equipped me with some skills in that area.
